General Hello

Confused has always got me the cheapest price. Full time students should try Endsleigh (direct not through a comparison site) as they're the best company for students price wise (always a good £350 cheaper than anyone else for me) (y)

Direct though Endsleigh website?

I did notice acctually that they came up nearly all the time cheapest

Well, i know I am getting older now. But my insurance with all modifications declared and 2 years no claims was £240 with admiral. They seem to really apreciate the cars although they will not recognise that my car has a 965cc engine so its down as a 903  I have told them that their system is incorrect so if they do actually record their conversations then I am perfectly covered. I argued a year or two ago that they had the wrong information and they never got back to me. A bit rude of them, as I was polite and even read them the information direct off my v5 doc as they requested.

Anyway. No suprise, group 1 insurance so about as cheap as you can get on the road without buying an eco diesel.

Si

I'm with Endsleigh now too and have been pleased with their service as well as price. When the scumbags pranged the purple Colour Endsleigh were very good to be fair. They paid out the value we quoted no questions asked.

That's reasuring to know if something should happen to whatever member of the fleet is insured at the time :)

I've put value for Sisley at £850, so hopefully they'd honor that.

They paid out £550 for the colour but it was just around that time prices began to take off. I think I could have squeezed them for a bit more as they paid up straight away. I'm not sure what the overall condition of your sisley is Jon, but I'd maybe consider upping the insurance value next time round. These cars are now slowly being recognised as classics. Not sure if that's good or bad news for us...

Only just renewed yesterday :p

TBH for the condition I think £850 is fair at the mo. Got it for £468, £200 for MOT and then the little bits I've done. After the summer though when I've had the gearbox reconditioned and possibly stripped and re-built the engine, and neatened the body work up I think it will be worth a tad more than £850 looking at the 4x4's going on ebay, even with 100k on the clock. :p

no, not enemy. more commonly known as the mk1 panda owners friend, but usually as a source of parts:( beware of mk1 folks eying up doors;)
in a funny sort of way the panda is regarded as not a proper car by most people, and yours is not even a proper panda. So by a late night leap of logic that actually makes yours the ultimate Panda.....maybe:confused:
still a nice little car, enjoy(y)
You only seem to be able to 'stumble across' van parts in Serbia. That seems to be where it's at now and they never made it over here.
