Helicopter sound whilst driving

Can anyone advise as to what this noise is a garage seems to think nothing wrong

Sounds like a wheel bearing. But I could be wrong.....

Umm .. a wheel bearing usually 'sings' or gives a knocking / graunching noise - particularly when the steering wheel is turned sharply whilst the car is in motion. The noise that your car producing seems rather constant .. sort of like a driveshaft that has a worn joint, though that's not to dismiss a wheel bearing as the culprit.

Is the noise coming from any particular side of the car .. and did it just start suddenly?

I would have thought that a workshop would have been able to identify a worn bearing or driveshaft. You're absolutely certain that the noise is coming from the road wheels/driveshaft and not the clutch/gearbox area?

If the noise is coming from just one side of the car, try swapping the 2 front tyres around to see if the noise changes from one side to the other. If a tyre becomes 'bulged' it can create road noise.

I bought this car end of last week, I advised the dealer that I could feel and hear what to me sounded like a rubbing noise. They had said they couldn't find anything wrong.There is no difference on either side of the car I have changed all the tyres around and this made no difference, you can feel the vibrations through the cars floor and pedals at slow speeds,at high speed you can hear the noise as per video.

The noise has no change to be fair, it is more aparent at high speeds but you can feel it at low speed

I've found several people on you tube with the same noise all saying bearings

Try slipping in to neutral and engine idle on a long downhill to eliminate engine resonance and gearbox.

Look at tyres.

I've done the coasting and the noise is still there.

The tyres are in daily good condition and there perrelli

To check driveshaft CV joints put hard left or right lock and accelerate to load them up. They will rattle a bit if getting worn.
