Heavy accelerator pedal and juddering when accelerating

feels like I'm pulling an elephant along and when I put my foot down the car judders a bit and it doesn't seem as powerful as it was....

Which motor do you have.... when was it last serviced.

I suppose you have a MK1 with the cable. Check the cable for free movement by disconnecting it under the bonnet, if its moving hard, change the cable.

Sorry missed a lot of info off didn't I, it's a 1999 bravo 1.2 SX, I thought you'd all know by now there's a new problem every week lol

my brake pad light comes on every now and then so I'm thnking maybe my brakes are not releasing all the way or something like that, is this common?

Like I said, check the accelerator cable.
What the brakes go, did you check the pad thickness and check that the cable for brake pad use is intact - it tends to snap in two and from time to time makes a connection to the earth and with that sends false signals to the dash.
