Stilo heater speed control resistor location

HiI have a stilo multi wagon and the fan does not work most of the time how do I get at the resistor to check that its not faulty some one says to take it somewhere quite and get rid another helpful chap suggested a stick of dynamite any ideas please so far I have tried and failed to get the glove box out and the hidden storage

Mate, are you referring to the passenger cabin heater blower motor or are you referring to the engine coolant radiator?
