Technical heater problem

have a 2004 ducato motorhome . 23000k. the heater is poor esp. when fan on .it looks like the valve isnt letting hot water thru quickly enough. i suspect the control (cable ? ) as feels ropey when operated and the other control (de mist down or face vents ) doesnt work very well either. anyone cured a similar problem ? please dont tell me i have to remove dashboard to get at it

no idea -but this may help,

look on the FIAT FORUM "banner" at top of page, there is a link called ePER, click it,
it's the fiat dealers parts microfiche, for info only, but worth a look,
click DX (=RHD)on the 1st page, then fiat commercials, then ducato,

just looked myself ,

there is an error on a heater page:bang:, aircon link seems to work though,

have a trawl through,it's better than scraping your knuckles..
