I have a 1998 Marea HLX 2.0 20v and have a problem with the Heater/Fan.
Before I start, it has Air Con/Climate Conrtol...
A while ago, on my way to work one day, the fan started blowing really fast and wouldn't stop even when turning the dial to zero. Then, after a minute or two it stopped and then seemed to go back to normal.
A few days later I noticed that the level 4 setting, the highest, wasn't much faster than level 3, well, it certainly didn't seem as powerful as normal.
Since then I have had the problem where if the temp dial is turned to HI I only get cold air, I have to have it on 30 to get warm to hot air, but this takes almost 30 minutes to come through hot'ish.
Also, if you turn it to LOW when it finally has warmed up it still comes through warm, only setting it to 18 will it come through cool.
It sounds screwed up I know, but does anyone have any pointers on this problem?
