Technical Heater controls illuminated?

Quite an obvious question but wanted to check before I pull the dash apart, are the manual heating / ventilation controls illuminated? Everything else is bit they're dark on mine. If individual bulbs, do I just pry out each assembly from the dash?

Yes, the front just pulls off and there is a single 1.2W bulb - 2 minute job.

Heater Control Lighting | FIAT Panda (Mk3)

I dont often drive my 09 reg Panda at night but I noticed when I had a nocturnal outing recently that the heater controls were not illuminated. Is this standard or could it be a bulb fault? Looking at the console it might be difficult to access. Has anybody else had this problem?
