Hi all, been a member for a while however, I spend most of my time reading other people's threads, but I have an issue I can't seem to sort out for myself so looking for some help from others please.
I have an 09 Ducato 120mj and the problem is with the fan controls.. the fan is working fine, as in it's blowing hot and cold air... just not to the right place!
The air comes very powerful from the directional vents and goes to the floor ok, but will only put a very small amount of air to the windscreen when I use the selector knob, so clearing the windscreen at this time of year is a right PITA!
The knob itself doesn't seem to have any resistance to it (is it cable attached, or electronic) and turns very easily, so I'm baffled about what the issue might be.. It looks as though the dash has been out at some point in the past, so I'm at a loss.... over to you!

As far as I am aware the control of the flap is cable operated. can you see the cable attached to the fan housing and does it move when the control is turned?

Thanks for that, I'll try to dismantle it this week, is there a simple way of removing the unit?

I have no removed the heater assembly or control panel so do not have any practical experience. Look at diag 1 in the link, especially items 6,7,8 to see how the dash come apart. [it is an instruction for adding a/c].

Good luck.
