Technical Heated rear window switch

Just a quickie,

just got my coop, realised before i bought it that the heated rear window didnt work. Does the switch "click" on and then "click" when you switch it off??.
Mine doesnt so am assuming this is the prob as the fuse seems ok.
Also can we assume that a "major service" at 74,000 at a approved renault garage would include cambelt change.
Loving my coop, not so keen on the MPG, but i didnt buy it for that,

There's a relay for the heater switch..should 'click' when powered on. I think its under the dash, right side?

Why is Fiat Coupe going to a Renault dealer?? I doubt a major service will include the belt..check with them but its a big job..belts (timing & aux), tensioner and water pump. Dealers make a full opera out of this, engine out etc and you could be looking at £1000 by the time they've finished overcharging you. Much better to find a decent independent who should do it with the engine in the car, better job at half the money.
