I've been looking for UK spec headlights as some of you know, and in such regard, emailed Ricambio about the seeming impossibility of getting them.
I hope I am not breaking any confidences when I pass on that Franco (who seems a very nice man) replied that he was in negotiation to have an order made. There is apparently a hold up while he negotiates the number he has to have made down to a more manageable level - they want him to order 500!
At least there is the possibility of something happening.
If I could offer a suggestion, I think anyone who is in need or who would like to squirrel away one or two as a preparation for disaster, might do well to email Ricambio and let them know, just to give some evidence of there being a market for them.
Also, it might be an idea to have a bit of a think about parts we're short of and add them to this thread, so that we could as a group try and encourage a trader to source them or something.
Luca does a sterlng job, searching in Italy for us, but it would be nice, and easier for him, if there was a trader who could import stuff on a business basis...Or am I alone in thinking this?
Could even get a shopping list together from time to time?
What do you think?:nutter: or  ?

Chris, in about 20 years time someone might invest in making uk spec headlamps, but for now forking out over £12k and having to store them make an issue.

There was a thread already for the items hard to get, with part numbers etc.
Ps. I've checked my lot and none in useable conditions, sorry. Have you not seen that bloke on FB page advertising lots of spares, he had HL.

It is possible to convert l/h to r/h if your glass is reusable Using a hot wire knife powered by a 12 v battery
Then refix with glazing silicone !
Kolza
