Technical Headlights Stuck on Question...

Hi,
My 2012 Panda Eco has developed the infamous Headlights problem. No matter what position the stalk switch is on the headlights stay on. I've looked into it and the two main options available to me (Spend a fortune at a Garage or Take out the Computer and do a lot of soldering) do not appeal!!
I am generally resigned to the fact that my headlights will just need to be on all the time BUT the problem is that the dashboard and radio illumination is in dim mode due to the headlights being on. This makes it all but impossible to see during the daylight hours.
Is anyone aware of a method to disable the auto dimming of the dash lights, or a way to make them bright again.

I might be wrong , but I think on my 2010 Doblo Maxi van there is an option to have lights on with ignition as in daytime driving .
I can't remember if it was in the handbook or if I found it using diagnostics on BCM.

The Panda is 'famous' for this headlight issue -- even down to a recall on some models. It's not a setting, but a fault. (The car has separate DRL lights in the bumper). See the 'similar threads' at the bottom of this page...

Have you read this: https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/panda-2012-headlights-staying-on-all-the-time.508903/ (likely appears at the bottom of this page under 'Similar threads' too). Appears to be a software issue with 2012 models...

Never the less it may be worth checking if your model has the "Digital Multi Function Display" like my Doblo, in which case I just turned the function off.
Though I certainly don't claim to have the specific knowledge of your models

No, the Panda does not have that function.
