Technical Headlight mystery...

Had a friendly word from a copper last night, telling me my offside dipped beam bulb was out, had a lookout fuse and bulb both still intact. Also side light looks to be a little dim, possibly related?

anyone have any ideas what this may be/ how to fix it?

Start Checking the Wiring and the plug

Usually its the plug that goes first
But i recently Had a Wire burn out at a weak point
Took me days to find it!

But Try swapping another 10Amp fuse - to make sure the fuse isn't dead

Swap the hibeam relay with the Dipped
there the same spec

If plug - fuse - relay dont sort it

then a wire will most likely snapped somwhere

Likely bad earth or connector on it's way out. Dig out the kraft knife, vaseline and multimeter. If the connector has overheated (they go like coal) you can pick a pair up on eBay for about a fiver.
