Hi does anyone know what headlight bulb goes in a 51 Plate Mk2 Punto ?

H1 or h7 take a look because they are all different! Pop the cover off the back of the driver side headlight and have a look because i nearly bought h7! You might come across 2 different size bulbs one h1 and one h7 seen that before too!

driver side is pips 
have a look there as there is a good chance its the same both sides
UPON saying that - there have been cases of people on the forum saying they have 1x h1 and 1xh7 on different sides
Indicating repairs or replacements
getting the passengers side is best accessed by removing fusebox and headlight bolts and moving them as best as you to give you about 1cm more room
Remember the headlights DONT come out without the bumper been removed

Hmm, this prompted me to look at those on my 'new to me' Mk2 (52 plate).
On the os I have a H7, and on the ns a H1.
Having now seen just how limited / non-existent the space is on the ns I would guess that the H1 was fitted as it might be slightly easier to replace as it only has one wire and could be done with a pair of long nose pliers. Not that I have a pair, yet! Or it could just be 'Italian Electrics'!
Goodness knows how you replace the outer lights!

Make sure your not picking the wrong bulbs
on the mk2b for example, headlights are h7, high beam are h1
Where on the mk2 it could have been both h7's or h1's or similar storey like mk2b's
Getting to the extreme side for the likes of the fog light - i assume it'd need to be a bumper off job to honestly get quickest and easiest access

Managed to get my bulbs replaced. Mine was both H1
