With all due respect I've seen far better cars than the Assetto Corse :) I've sat in a GroupA Subaru Impreza which Colin drove and on the same day I've been metres from an Aston Martin DBR9 while they've been doing demonstration pitstops and I've spent my life going to rallies and seeing lots of interesting and expensive machinery going flat chat through forests, over jumps etc

Even had my hands on an Impreza WRC :p

So you'll excuse me if I don't cream my pants over an Assetto Corse :)
Brag brag brag :p Scoobs are boring, eveyone has one (even you) And like i said, it's not about the cars really, more so the meeting of the owners etc. Some A500 owners have plenty of dosh in the bank (millions in some cases) doesn't stop them enjoying driving/owning one! ;)

You don't get it though. I don't like Subaru's, I just like the performance and tbh you can't argue with the capabilities of the cars. Just because someone's rich doesn't mean they have taste anyway :)

So do i, but there is a community and a culture with the 500 and the Abarth 500, whether it's fast or not! You've said it yourself, the 500 is a lifestyle car. My mates Evo 320 HP is fast in any direction on any surface, but it still bores the hell out of me, i would rather drive the Abarth.

Maxi, was there any need for the 'I've done this and that' reply, really? All he said was that there was an Abarth meet, and his reply to the first post was 'fair enough, but it's not just T-Jets, there's an Assetto Corse going too!', nothing harsh or troll-like about it. Then we get some random bragging about various parts of your life. I found it fairly interesting that an Assetto Corse was going to be there as they are fairly rare after all.

I normally agree with your posts on here but I really don't think the bragging was called for, let alone a photo to prove you've pushed a WRC car.

But by the same token, Draigflag, you could avoid a lot of arguments by not responding to people as if your life depends on defending your opinion. Some people won't agree with you and that's their right!

The arguments here are getting bloody boring now.

I agree, but try telling Maxi to change the record! It's not arguing, it's discussion ;)

All I'm saying is that it's all relative :) If you've spent your childhool around Austin Maxi's and Allegro's then a Lada Samara will be exciting let alone an Assetto Corse and so on. It's all relative :)

I quite like Allegros..... :ROFLMAO:

I keep wondering why he's single people! :p

::ROFLMAO::

You coming to Cosford on Sunday? :)

Cosford? News to me, I've heard it being banded about but what exactly is happening?

Oh, and I'd happily drive an Allegro but it would have to be silver or black, with a tan leather interior slammed over minilites. :D

I had a Maxi as a company car. It was the ****tiest car I've ever had to drive, but what's the point of all this Subaru being faster than a 500 Abarth crap, and the T-Jet thing is getting boring or should we also call the 500 Lounge a Panda Dynamic.

You have to admit, a Scooby is the ugliest car this side of a first-gen Fiat Multipla. I realise that its not just the looks that count for a car like that .. but damn does it look ugly.

The new ones yes, the older ones not so much. But I will admit they're no oil paintings! In terms of Impreza's I only really like the special edition ones like the Series McRae, P1, RB5 etc.

P.S I like the first gen Multipla! It's function taking a dump all over form (y)
