hmmm no nothing in particular :p If anything I saw the news as a positive - the showroom was empty when I went in and they were falling over themselves in sell me one - probably could have got a little more off :)

I fancied a little fling with a cheeky 500 before settling down in a few years time with a sensible yaris - isn't that always the way

Add to that my Fiance is Italian and I've never live it down if I went with the Yaris lol!

Well my head has won.... next year its a Yaris 1.8SR for me.

Cue the jokes......

Ha heard them all before 306....

Not affected by the accelerator problem... bit boring maybe... but that will make a nice change from the last 3 years! ;)

:) You could certainly buy worse cars for sure.

:) I had a drive, from the road test reports I read I was expecting a docile, wallowing pig of a car...

But really... and I hesitate here... its 130Bhp, N/A petrol, so no surge just a regular zoom until you get on the valves & then it does shift a bit... about the same output as an un-mapped 1.9MJet... and the handling is better by loads! 40 Mpg is a bonus... and they cheap! (y)

Have you considered a 1.4 Turbocharged 155 BHP MiTo by any chance?

I test drove a Yaris and hated it, no soul at all. I've had my 500 for 3 months and yes there are a few problems (petrol cap was the first, but I've learnt the knack now) but nothing major.

I still smile when I see one on the road and then remember I'm driving one too! Also, it's so quiet that when I was sweeping the snow off it I couldn't actually remember if I'd switched the engine on :)
