Technical Head lining removal...

...I need to get Scrappy's (1988 4X4) off to fit a DAB aerial and I have no idea where to start.

Any advice would be much appreciated

I've done this recently, sort of. There's an article by Vern here which explains a lot of it:

...however, on mine I have a glass sunroof fitted which meant more hassle to totally remove it. Luckily I (and from the sound of things you) don't need to completely remove it so you can just pull it loose and leave the sunroof part (if you have one).

Basically, remove the grab handles and then carefully prise the lining out at the edges where you need to get to. Refitting is the reverse of removal.

i find the best place to do it is from the back through the boot hatch. pull it down from there, put your hand all the way up and wiggle the central trim pin thingy out. if you do it from the bottom (bit you see) you can damage the pin and the headlining.
