There is a manual override mate. Fold your rear seats and climb into the boot space and use a flat head screwdriver to open the boot using the manual override :)

you know what, this reminded me the other day maybe 2-3 months ago where my boot popper button didn't work... The car side lights flashed as if I'd pressed it, but the lock did not release.

So had to use internal button to release lock!

But it sorted itself out after 2 weeks or so... odd, must've been the gremlins in my GP.

well after no rain today i decided to check out why the boot wont open and the problem is that the rear window washer jet thing the pvc tube snap off so being a sunday not many places open luckily for me halfords was so gone to get some tubing to replace and broken one and then ill need to try and drie out any screen wash/water thats still near the wire loom any advice on how to do that i was thinking of wd40  Andy Monty hopefully you could shed some wisdom on that

bit of an update i started taking everything apart to find out to what extent was the damage/leak luckily for me wasnt that bad considering however i did fix and my boot is now working and i now have a boot light to the problem wasnnt so much the screen wash getting to the wires as far as i can see but it was
