reason why i`m askin is that i`m tryin to buy a set of skirts of someone and i`ve been asked to arrange a courier to pick them up, and i`ve a feelin that its gonna cost more than the post office, so would it be better for the other person to send them via post office/parcelforce, just wonderin if its hard to do,
and yes i know i work for city link but i nearly fell over with shock at the price for arrangin for pick up from here, and besides i`m hesitat to use the company i work for

We use City-link at work.. although not for much longer... their service is beyond a joke TBH...

I know it costs £8 ish + VAT to get a parcel (up to 25kg) collected, and delivered next day to anywhere in the UK before 5:30pm. Not sure about a collection from elsewhere though..

Probs best to box them up, and take them to the PO.. see what price they charge, and what price works out better..

Just remember there's another postal strike planned for this Thursday & Friday..

On me phone so u should feel very special right now! I've posted 2sets and the only people who will collect them due to size is city link. Went through parcel uk ..... Will post like 2morrow. Cost about £12 i think. All they need to be is sealed in a bag, paper, box etc. With ur address on it. Hope this helps.

I was going to suggest the ones I used...and after 20 mins of searching have realised I didn't keep the email, so of no use!
