Has anyone fixed jamming seat rail before???

As the title says, has anyone fixed a jamming seat rail on a Bravo/a?

My passeneger seat has been jammed for a couple of weeks now. I finally got around to taking it out to have a look at it today.

I can see somethings not right with the rail set up but I cant figure out how its meant to go together.

Heres a picture of how it looks at the moment (upside down)

Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it?

Without wanting to sound bitchy, have you checked the drivers side? When one of my runners fell out, I checked on the drivers side, and it is kind of a mirror image.

Yeah I have taken a look at the drivers side but unfortunately the drivers side seat doesnt work properly either (there seems to be a patern here lol). It slides back and forth but doesnt release when the seat is folded forward.

I will take another look in a minute though to see if I can get a rough idea of what might be up.

Cheers for the offer mate, I might have to take you up on it in a bit.

I decided to take your advice and look at the drivers seat for inspiration. I removed it and now Im stuck trying to fix that too.

Turns out the reason why the drivers seat doesnt slide forward when the back of the seat is released is because there is a chunck of metal thats bent and jammed on the upper runner.

If I can fix the drivers seat then I shold be able to work from there to see whats up with the passenger seat.

God why did I bother, the jammed passenger seat wasnt effecting me (except for when my passengers compained about lack of leg room)

I forgot what it was like to own a car thats no longer covered by dealer warranty lol

Both seats have pushed me to my limits today so I'm going to pic it up again tomorrow and see where I get with them.
