Halfords brake paint

halfords brake cailper paint is it any good,easy to do and how much is it ?

If it helps i have there VHT Black Paint
Works fine on things that get hot (like drums and Sumps) Shocks and Springs

But Not on the Manifold

no paint works on a manifold its far too hot, you need coatings or wraps

proper VHT paint works but you need to do it right... needs to be 100% clean, apply very thin dustings of paint then let it dry a few hours then bake it then repeat....

easier and better to get it coated... but at the end of the day its a cast iron manifold... it will always look the same in the end... best find a nice heat shield to hide it behind

Its Stuck on nicely around the Cat And the Actualy Manifold Bolt Area has accepted it nicely
And on the Sump too!

Its just where it all joins up

Took Manifold Cover off cause it was no use been on as it was more loose then anything

What "wraps" Can i get for it then? :S

get a tin of hammerite is like £7
and that brake paint in the box in halfords is like £20 and the pots of paint are like £10
halfords ripping people off again
