Ive just been in a Bravo HGT and it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. What a complete bag of spanners. Is this suppose to be the GTi of the Bravo range???? We we're overtaken by a E reg Fiesta deisel.

SHITE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: HGT

Mitsu.evo but dont let that put you off having a go from the lights in your F reg Datsun Cherry - shag breath.

evo

for a minute there I thought you owned a fiat? that explains why your on a fiat site slagging them off!Maybe your hanging around on this fiat site because you really want a fiat but your stuck with your shitsu.evo

your right , they are a little "slugish" (see my comments under "Age" thread for my 'love' of Bravo HGT),
but E-reg fiesta diesel , I think you were either in a broken one or a badly driven one.

They are reasonably fast , but HELLA slow from a standing start.

Also EVO - sweet car , i've also fancied and Evo VI
but they are to butt ugly.

Re: Re: HGT

"Scooby Doo" - what a stupid name

you are a real idiot - has anyone told you that?
if you dont wanna buy a Fiat, dont like the hgt, then go and **** off into a Pug Forum - no one is gonna miss you
The HGT is not a hot hatch. With 5 cylinders and 20 valves, it is much more of a cruiser, mid range is its strength. It competes with most cars in the same bhp category, and for any car that beats it off the lights (and it wont be by much), the HGT will kick the **** out of it mid range. Dont confuse the issue - and dont slag off the HGT if you want to buy a DIESEL - do me a favour!
Mitsu Evo my arse - he asked you what you own (which is nothing and soon to be blue "chug chug" 306 D Turbo ha ha)not what you WANT to own - what do you know about Evos anyway?
Fed up of people trying too hard to make a statement they cant back up - couldn't beat a Fiesta Diesel? - then go and buy one then you muppet - you are just full of crap.

Re: Re: Re: HGT

Right Phil you **** wit,

I HAD a Vauxhall Astra Sport. I was going to buy a Bravo (Thats why im on the Fiat Forum you jerk) I test drove a Bravo & a 306 D Turbo. The 306 is for the missus, I then ditched the Bravo idea and bought a Mit.evo because I work for Mitsu. as the regional Sales Manager, so if you wanna talk EVO bring it on because there is **** ALL I dont know about them.

You dim bastard.

hehe

If you are the Regional sales manager Mitsubishi will be interested in a copy of this thread i send them :p

If not... shame :p

Evo

evo's have beautiful engines and they go like f**k. but they are just lancers with a lot of plastic. in other words you are driving a japanese piece of crap. don't mock the bravo cos it does look as good, and its probably more solid than your flimsy rocket ship!!

Re: Re: Re: Re: HGT

Right Scooby, enough of the language & insults or don't bother coming here again. Keep it for the Pug/EVO forums.

Paul

EVO what????

Evo´s are a piece of ****!!!
Why don´t u try an IMPREZA!??????????
That´s a great CAR Scooby POO

I still dont believe you

Why would you want to buy a Fiat Bravo if you are a sales manager for Mitsubishi? Why did you own an Astra if you work for Mitsu? Why would you want a diesel for the missus? -it all sounds very convenient when the thing boils over, so WHATEVER....

Besides, you know when the meets are, so if you're so hard (insults - jerk, ****wit, blah blah) come down and have a chat there, instead of hiding behind a cartoon character (a DOG!) let us know your real name!

That aside - Mistu Evo's are in truth unbelievable cars - I've driven both that and Subarus, very comparable in a straight line, but Evos have much better handling - so we cant slag them off really.
However what started this off was that crass statement from you that the HGT couldn't keep up with a Fiesta Diesel - as a car salesman, you must REALLY know your cars ha ha! if you wanna be controversial - do it in style and not talk **** - if you had said that the Evo kicks the **** out of an HGT, I would have put my hand up with you, but not a STUPID comment like yours - use your brain!!!!!

Go to the Pug forum - I'm sure you wont last long there either - cos you're SO hard with your statements.
boring boring....

Re: I still dont believe you

Phil, as this is a new appointment Ive been driving my Astra until the registration changed to 52. I was given a choice, either a big discount on a more expensive car (EVO) or go find a new car that i like (bravo). I first chose the Bravo because there nice looking cars with good reputation, but, It didn't drive like I thought it would, so, I went for the EVO. Simple really.
I dont wanna fall out with anyone. I like Bravo's and I enjoy been part of this forum so lets stop bickering at each other and act like grown ups (not too grown up though...)
[reaches out for handshake]

ahem

Re: ahem

I could of been more offensive. I thought I'd toned it down from **** to muppet. Come on man, be reasonable.

fair do's

ok fair enough
but statements like yours directly to car owners will boil over - guaranteed every time!
anyway - back to cars. there is no competition, evo definitely. Four wheel drive, superb handling, unbelievable speed (enough to send ANY car packing up to 100mph) excellent reliability. I would say that it is by far the better car. Many poeple would say that it is ugly, but it is a rally look, not about nice lines etc, i personally like it.
but let me tell you that the HGT (i have one) is pretty good, for a lot of change from £20k, I have
heated leather seats
aircon and sunroof
fantastic pearlescent silver paint
half decent 0-60 - about 8.5 secs
excellent mid range
a good looking car
and the most unbelievable 5 pot sound enhanced by a pipercross induction kit. (all my mates are into tuning - and not cheap cars either, and they all say I have the best sounding car)
so slagging off the HGT didn't sit well with me - its done OK for an inexpensive car. Maybe you're just used to the explosive power from the Evo (then there is no comparison)

If you come to the meets, let me know and I'll take you for a spin, I've got the torque and front wheel drive down to a tee with heel and toe - very interesting and fun......
(only if your Evo is there to join us though)

yes but....

it's still bickering. Play nicely children or you'll all be grounded :p
