When I start my car you can hear quite loudly some liquid pouring through from the dash area I think. Any ideas what this could be and how to stop it? Or is it normal and Im just being thick?

Does your car have aircon?
Bravo I recently bought had aircon but virtually no refrigerant in system - when aircon was on caused gurgling sound.
If aircon faulty and permanantly engaged, this could be the problem?

Did you check your coolant level ?
You may have a air lock in the cooling system.

omg and i thought it was just me ive heard the same noise but never knew what it was .......my car doesnt have aircon so that rules that out for me but would be really interested if any1 else has the noise or knows where its coming from

Airlocks frequently occur - ususlly in the heater matrix inlet pipe.
Drain the coolant and tart gain.
Drain the coolant and tart gain.
