Technical Grinding noise from aircon

When I turn on the aircon in my idea multijet, there is a grinding noise coming from the engine. It sounds just like the noise from an angle grinder. The air is cold but not very cold. Could there be something wrong with the compressor or the electro clutch on the compressor?

sounds like compressor is needed however.....got a pic of the 75 cherry?
