Styling Great DEAL on Dayline Light Stilo But...

That was intended as a response to gadge :p

I've had a read through the aforementioned thread about modifying the EU lights to suit the UK, quite a bit of work in splitting and stripping down the light but probably not so bad if you know what you're doing. Same guy who did that then fitted Merc E55 projectors in and the end result looks minted :D I'll post a link to the threads when I have time.

I'm thinking these will go well in black along with the "dark edition" tail lights I'm buying soon, if we had enough people interested in these do you think the previous person who modded them would be interested in doing them for us at a fixed rate?

Would be great if the guy could do it for us, specially when he lives 2 mins away from me :D and I'd rather get the rear black lexus light off ebay, and the black dayline led lights :)

Alright guys, Am I the only one to notice the difference between both lamps on the pictures?

One that some sort of kit with wiring etc... and when you watch the video with Dlite he also fits some kit connected to the battery, and the other dayline has a single wire that connect to the light connector... So what does that kit do?

We're close to Solving the equation!!

No.

All EU headlamps have height adjustability since 1998. It is not a UK specific requirement. This is height adjustment for vehicle loading, not left/right dip adjustment.

Following the link for the lamps, you will notice on the left a menu list. These lamps are under the heading "Headlight", below that is another heading, "Headlight RHD". Is it only me that can see that?

There are cheaper suspension kits on that site, a full damper set for under £50 I'm sure, but the mount bolts on the hub carrier are different distances apart for different models so that would need to be checked with the supplier and then compared with that of your Stilo before deciding to buy.

That grill is the one I have, I didn't buy it off them I was given it by another member when I bought other stuff off his car, I love it!

Are you absolutely sure those lights you linked to me are UK legal out the box? I can't see find any proof in the link :S sorry :D

I should mentioned that I emailed FK the other day and they got back to me saying that the headlights are not UK legal and are for mainland Europe only :(

Here's a couple of links to the dampers I found dirt cheap:

Rear dampers:

http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/en...type=search&searchparam=Fiat Stilo suspension

Front dampers:

http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/en...type=search&searchparam=Fiat Stilo suspension

They are the same "High Tec" dampers as per your previous post but the combined price is only 30-odd pounds.

The "High Tec" springs separately:

http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Pr...type=search&searchparam=Fiat Stilo suspension

They are going for £38, add that to the price of the dampers and overall price is £40 or so less than the price for full kit :)
