not neccesarily, looking on the arnold clark website, he has dynamic sports listed as new 58 plates, although they are not a series 2. i ordered my 1.48v dynamic with esp, dualogic and metalic paint for 9300 from my dealer, which was cheaper than i could get from broadspeed.

I got a pre-reg '57 plate MJ with cruise control (retro-fitted at AC's expense - £500 + VAT) and two years servicing for £11k.

I'd hammer them down for more knowing now what others paid.

i just ordered new 1.4 tjet from AutoFinders in exotica red, with two tone alloys n tinted windows for £9350. havent heard anyone thats beat that yet. 3 years warrenty, tax etc...

Cheap as ****, How many more have bought from here? Despite a £250 deposit on a £10300 car, I can still get this one in the spec I want for £9400! lose £250, save £650, I should have enquired about this prior to putting a deposit down I think? once you have Put a deposit down is that the price you pay? Because I suppose I could phone the garage and say That I have found the same car £900 cheaper and am thinking of pulling out and see what they do?
One question though, why is the 5 year warranty forfeited?

5 year warranty is available from a dealer, this is the reason i went with the dealer, although i got mine for the same price as i could have else where

i beat that price. but cant say by how much.

Yeah to keep the warranty youre going to have to spend £200-£400 everytime its service time, and if the warranty after 2 years is a dealer warranty like the mk1 its not worth the paper its on anyway. No work gets done without a real fuss.

it all depends on what price you can get out of a dealer, i got mine bang on what i would have got off autofinders, as i got a dealer discount of 2k. try haggling ur dealer to start with, you might be surprised

you wont get them any cheaper than the online brokers, one was telling me that the Fiat sells its cars cheaper to hire purchase suppliers than to their own dealers. dont ask me why.

I would try and haggle with the dealer if you really want the 5 year warrenty, but to be honest it isnt worth it if you are going to save a grand on the motor. you can always buy extended warrenty cheaper from a private company.

im seriously considering shopping in my t-jet for a new fully speced one, as i can get it for less than i paid for mine with the skydome as the only extra  i have looked on the likes of autofinders, broadspeed etc and am happy with the prices they give. my only quiery is what happens to the outstanding finance and how do i work out what is outstanding with the intrest added? (if thats how it works?) i would ask my local dealer but im sure they would just try and rape me for more money. :(

cheers for any help.

You need to ring your finance and get a 'settlement' figure. You then carry this figure on MINUS the trade in value for your GP onto the finance for your new car. Guesstimating on how Fiat's and Grande's in general depreciate your going to loose out by 1-2K I imagine.

if thats the case i will be breaking even(ish) for a fully speced one. not bad imo. cheers chris.

Hi

I had outstanding finance on my barchetta. You can ring your hp company for a settlement figure or the dealer can get one for you, or both if you really want to check. I assumed that I would have to pay the full amount outstanding i.e. remaining months on the agreement multipled by the monthly amount but this wasn't the case. You should get a rebate on this hp interest. It's worth checking.

As far as I'm aware, I didn't get stiffed by the dealers. I was (and am) happy with the deal I got. You've got nothing to lose by asking.

Also, if you haven't seen all three colours, make sure you see them in the flesh. The red is not like you see in the pics, it's got an orangey tint to it just like the old Morris Marina. Leather is definitely the way to go, though with the stiffer suspension (especially with the EsseEsse pack) you may well get creaks with the SkyDome. That's one of the reasons I'm not bothered about that.

HTH

remember the more you can get off there base price, means even less you will pay, as the standard specs include vat, less base price = less vat, my base price for my dynamic was £8541 then add on the options at prices less the vat eg auto = 612.77, then take off any discount you can get and could work out a lot less, although my discount was 2k you will then get even more due to less vat. i saved over another £500 on top
