That ST is gorgeous... i'd love one :yum:
They handle immensely and that Miltek exhaust sounds absolutely gorgeous.

You can get decent gains from in-expensive(ish) mods aswell... Theres a couple on STOC and UKFN running 250-300bhp+ without turbo.

They look gorgeous in white aswell... really suits the car!

personally i think the ST is an aged car with the most boring interior of cars out there, my mate has an ST n yes it is quick but its also group 13 insurance and the GPS is only group 6. your car has more power n would probably eat STs for breakfast in everyday life.

but like you said you want a change and go for it, but you might regret the MPG later on! :D

It would eat standard STs, notthis one though. and in everyday life the ST outhamdles the GP with no effort.

don't even think Jug can argue with that... but i'm sure he'll find a way

i dont argue, i offer a different point of view. :p

first point depends entirely on what the word "tuned" is meant to mean. obviously at some point of tuning a GP will accelerate more quickly than an ST. how much tuning is required is not known so all we can do is form an opinion based on assumptions, and that can never settle a dispute.

the second point suggests ANY GP can not match the ST on a corner. i disagree with that, given an unlimited budget you could get the GP to corner better than the ST, even when you take the GP's weight distribution problem into account. all the GP needs is different suspension, different tyres, and something to balance the weight out (like me in the boot). that should remove the understeering problem and make it far easier to control at speed.

the third point is also a bit too blunt to be correct. in certain situations the ST may 'kill' the GP, but not in all, and in some situations the GP will probably be better, so to say 'kills' outright is a bit much.

Oh jug how your brighten up my working (used loosely) day.

Point 1 - Tuned suggesting the same tuned power and torque as mine.

Point 2 - Standard GP Mjet vs Standard Fiesta ST

Point 3 - Standard ST and standard GP, the ST should come out on top in most and if not all driving situations.
