Got The Bass...What About The Treble??

ello, ive got 2 jbl 1000w subs in my punto mk1 with a 1000w amp. ive upgraded the standard speakers in the car but what else can i do for treble as its to "bassy" and cant hear the words or anything to a song just bass...when i turn it up. some people have said get another amp and run 6x9's off of it. what does everyone think i should do? thanks

come on chaos, could of explained a bit better

speaker pods, with 6.5" speakers, then amp then, iv got 75w rms infintiy speakers running on alpine 2x100w rms amp, sounds fantastic, and goes silly loud.

dont get 6x9's.

btw, wana buy a set of 6x9's? jbl 100w rms

well theres nothing wrong with 6x9's its just most people fit them into the parcel shelf, if you fit them into the front doors then thats ok, but not in the back.

Arent 6 x 9's treble and bass? Components would be the best as they are mid and high range as long as they come with tweeters.

well yes 6x9s do produce bass but you turn bass on minimum then they just produce treble.

but he will be much better off with components

Dont get 6x9s...waiting for my custom pods to be made n fitted with focal components as i type this...then taking my 6x9s out when i have the money to get a sub n amp (probably focal again)... if uve got decent speakers up front then u just need the bass in the back not the 6x9s...hope it helps in some way
