Good bye Marea, hello Punto

Well, the time had come where I had to say goodbye to my dear Marea

The insurance, tax and fuel was just getting to much. Work has been slack and still need wheels to get about.

As the Marea was a trusty ole tank, I decided to keep with Fiat .... and ok, so I could have a reason to keep reading your forums

So here it is, the new member of the family
Fiat Punto 60 SX 1.2 1999
It has 6 months tax and MOT :slayer:
Just had a 2 hour session colour restoring her, as she was a bit dull.

Brought her cheap as the rad had burst, the guy even delivered it on a trailer ( with cost of course ).
Just ordered the new rad off ebay. Paying 35 quid is better than the 80 wilco parts centre quoted me!

Just need to get some anti-freeze, any suggestions for the best place for price?

This is what I get for buying a spares or repair motor.

Got the rad on today and filled up the system.
Was running fine while cold, but as soon as the temp gauge hit 50% it started miss firing.

Long story short .....

Pulled the oil cap off and was met with mayonnaise in the cap.
I checked this when buy it and was fine ( always do ).
Guess what I will be doing this weekend.
