TC....when you say you "polished out the scratch" , call me a thick c**t if you like , but how do you do that ? I have tried loads of times to do the same thing on small scratches on my focus but even the lightest scratch never seems to fade ? WTF am I doin wrong..i even use the black coloured polish but still no good..

I have done the same thing. some chav parked next to me an a 306 with a **** kit on it, opened his door straight into the side of my ibiza i had at the time, placing a little dent in the door. right in the middle on the style line. so i got out, when hed gone, got a plastic bag from the boot along with a latex glove (carry em incase need to change wheel), and much to the amusement of my mate who was sat in the back, i found a pile of dog ****, got some on the bag and then smeared it under both his door handles and drove off. He wouldnt be able to tell id done anything till he opened the door.
This was miles away from where i live, im a bit parra about doing things like that close to home.

At my work theres space for 4 cars with a small gap left thats not really big enough to park in as it would be very difficult to get in and out of the car. Some clever guy (from the accountants next door), tried loads of times to fit his Mondeo into the gap. On a couple of occassions he did fit in but as he got out of the car more or less rammed his door into the side of my Bosses GTV. He done the same the following day but to my car. The next day I drove the family runabout (Citroen AX) into work and waited for him to park up. I moved my car so close to his that it was more or less millimetres from his car. That nite I caught the guy red faced trying to scramble in to his car through his boot. Tosser! I did this 3 days in the trot. The 4th day he parked at the front.

I think your statement of having your door opened onto with no real damage and replying to it with a full blown keying is a bit too strong too! At least mine will have no lasting damage - assuming you don't respect my every word I just spoke my mind.

Problem with the 3-door Stilo is the doors are so fecking massive, although it looks like Fiat have used good thick steel here, problem is the doors open to the first park point to quickly its easy to bash your doors off other cars. I opened my door and just touched a Volvo V40's front door, right at the edge of the door and managed to dent it.
I was so ashamed that i thought oh feck and drove off, and didn't leave my details.
Still if anyone ever keys your door from window edge to sill you'll be sure you know who it was!!! Most keyed cars are keyed across the way not up and down.
