i take back my comment earlier very bad of me to say that. im sorry to anyone who is offended. the reason why id like a polo because the parts are easier to get hold of and people are right it is very slow but very comfortable and safe.

Hi mate im absolutly VW mad...had vw's for years,ive got a scirocco,mk1 golf cab amongst my lot lol...and now my mrs's cinquecento sporting lol...just having a play with the fiat at min as vw's are nice enough as they are,one thing though fiat is good fun BUT in a crash NOW WAY!! Parts for Fiats are just as easy to get hold of as VW parts.

Out of interest, which mark Polo are you getting? I hope its not an mk4 1.0l. They are horrifically slow. The mk2 and 3 get away with its 43ish HP because they weigh not alot more than a bag of feathers.

Saying that though, the MK2 and 3 1.0ls are still slow although my MK2 cruises happily at 70mph.
