As heard this on the radio last week on way to work, and saw it on the BBC news but forgot about it until today, and well being Burns Night tonight thought it was apt to put it in here especially to wind up those East coasters that frequent on here, lol

For those that can't be eersed to read the links, it's the only place in Europe that has made it on to the top ten places to visit is 2006 along with Amador County, California; Belem, Brazil; Charleston, South Carolina; Goa, India; Kenyan Game Parks, Margarita, Venezuela; Molokai, Hawaii, Ramah, New Mexico and Tasmania, Australia.

Sounds like the old Del Boy van ;)

"New York - Paris - Peckham"

"Goa - Belem - Tasmania - Glasgow"

LOL, yeah it’s when people from other parts come and laugh at the opulent life that we lead, and laugh in bewilderment at the rich tapestry of life that we live in ;)

in breif, "A suburb of Glasgow is one of Britain's wealthiest postcodes, according to a new survey." but oposite is; Extreme poverty

"It's in such great demand and something like this will put it in even bigger demand."

Britain's poorest postcode is Newcastle NE17, where 68% of households earn less than £10,000.

"Parts of Leeds, Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Bradford have the next highest concentrations of extreme poverty, by postcode sector"
