nope.
have you removed the bolts inside the arm rest/handle?
and the one in the latch for the cover? there is also one in the pocket itself.
pull the bottom off first, it will be stiff, if has plastic securing lugs. then lift it up. probably best to put the window down.

yes, the handle/pocket are screwed on from the back.
