General  General Panda thoughts

Random meaningless musing here.
I was reading through your Parade thread the other day and read that you also had the strange sensation that when driving a Panda it feels as if there really aren't any brakes when compared to a GP. I'm glad its not just me then.

I've put a couple of thousand miles on a GP, the brakes are amazing. It's like hitting a wall.

.......

This would not get past OFCOM. :D

Bonus vids: Die Hard 3 music baby!!! ;)

Finally got one of these. For the windscreen dash vents.

My phone also fits in it perfectly, its a great impromptu sat nav holder.

My 6 month long wheeltrim project got a bit further today.
But then the cold wind annoyed me. If Saturday is a nice day, I should be all finished then.

Few pics. It's soo easy... so far.

One sheet of p600 wet and dry, will strip all 4 trims. It only takes 30 minutes tops, to strip the old paint off.

One crummy wheeltrim:

After about 20 minutes:
Notice the lug holes still need doing.

After primering:
The scratch marks were caused when my paint booth. (Cardboard and coat hanger) fell over and picked-up crap off the floor.

Didn't tax on cars under 1500cc (ish) registered ~March 2001, used to be fixed at £74 for 6 months and £135 for 12?
Unless I've made the above up it seems to have gone up a few quid

EDIT: On further research it seems all tax bands have been hiked up a few quid, I was blissfully unaware of this.

Jon....get a members motors thread up for the 750... I'm dying to see detailed pics...(y)

Will do, in all honest it's just sat on the drive since collection, been so busy it's unbelievable, and to add to the inconvenience had someone go into the back of me in my Bravo this afternoon. Hope to play with the 750L and get some pics up this weekend :)
