My Doblo 1.9 jtd recently started to refuse to select 4th gear. It has now got worse. Does anybody know the cause (its not the selector cables its in the box) and the remedy. I know this thread has been posted before but there was no sensible answer

If your sure it's in the box then you need to remove the box and open it up to investigate.

Yes I am well aware of that. As a number of people have had the same problem I wish to know the cause.
