General Gearbox speedo drive spindle

My speedo stopped working on my Fiat motorhome 1.9TD 2001. On investigation I found that the spindle shaft inside the gearbox had snapped therefore the cable was not operating. I have searched the planet for a spindle drive but no luck and looking for help please.

If you’ve tried fiat dealer and had no luck have you tried Peugeot dealer they use same gearbox on same year?

Theres a few different pinion ratios do you know which yours is? IF you dont post your vin and someone will check.
