gearbox help

am having problems locating the correct box for my y plate brava 1.6 16v. Am i right in thinking there are different sorts of cabled gearboxs? or is my garage just not seeing something. Any help would be appreciated as my car is now in its 3rd week off the road!!!

The 1.6 is not a cable change gearbox.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Mine is deffo a cabled box. Fiat changed the box in 2001 and mine has the new one, cabled gear change and hydraulic clutch, not hydraulic both.
