well about reverse just make sure the cars at a standstill or it will crunch and make sure its at idle as that also sems to cause crunching on my uno

Hi mate:D i had the same problem on my jtd130 when i got it, would be fine from cold but as soon as you had done about 5 or 6 miles the gears got steadily tighter to get in on a long journey, it nearly caused me to get rear ended several times as you pulled out of roundabouts whilst fishing around for gears(n) my problem was down to the linkages on top of the gearbox which had a metal rod in a plastic sleeve which inevitably led to sticking when it warmed up:( i had to strip it all out , clean everything down and try reassembly. but it was still quite tight:bang: the problem seems to be that the alloy housing containing the plastic bushes gets corroded and swells which closes up the bushes. ideally you should then take out the old bushes, scrape away all the corrosion and fit new bushes:( or (as i did) get a round file and open out the bushes a bit to allow for the extra needed:D i rebuilt it all using red rubber grease which is used for brake components which i knew wouldn't rot out the rubber and plastic as some greases can(y) i did it a couple of months ago now and its been fine since, gears are easy to get even on long runs:D well worth the effort(y)
