Gear problem

Hi guys I have an old 1988 fiat ducato left hand drive, shift gear motorhome, she hasn't moved since 20th December, I had to jump start her, but won't go into gear, if I force the gear she cuts out, any advice?

Basics..
Work the clutch pedal.. feel normal..

Stiff.. or sticky..

Then

Select all the gears.. feel normal..or cant get them..

Depress clutch pedal.. any different changing gear with the pedal down?

Sounds like something is sticking.. and dragging the clutch

Still cable operated back then..

It will go into gear when not running, but crunching and cuts engine if it goes in when started, pedal is going down and coming back fine.

Definitely moving the clutch arm on gearbox.. not just pushing against the pedals return spring?

No definitely moving, when I try to start it in gear, it bumps like you are bump starting or kangaroo petrol but doesn't start ?

I might be barking up the tree here but, I had a car that sat a long time, the clutch was doing similar to yours, I pushed down the clutch pedal, pinned it down with a piece of wood from the front seat to the clutch pedal and left like for two days, when I went back to it the clutch has freed itself and was working normally.
Try it, it may work for you.
