Jack up car front at gear box end, loosen off filler plug a turn.
Level off car, remove filler plug stick in pinky if no oil comes out. If you can't feel any oil, and you have 899 inspect gaiters on inner drive shafts carefully if there is any sign of oil walk to factors for replacement gaiters.

yep. basically the filler plug is the oil level. fill it til it takes no more.
