Hi Guy's

I wonder if anyone can tell me where the fuel filter is located, on a RHD 2001 Marea Weekend 1.6SX?

I have removed the plastic panel by the fuel tank, just in front of the O/S rear wheel - No filter!
I have gone from front to back under the car no in-line filter found, but I did find a black plastic canister under the O/S front wing.
Is this the fuel filter, If not what is it?
I have looked on-line and can only find metal in-line filters.

It is builtin to the sending unit on petrol versions. Pre-facelift versions have it infront of the tank, where you were looking for it.

hi Gary, and welcome,
my marea was a JTD so quite different,
presume you follow the BLUE fuel lines,
and this item under the wing has them going to/ fro ??


I reckon it's probably the fuel EVAP canister,:idea:
maybe look on ePER ( on top banner of homepage) , that's the online parts microfiche system,
should help in finding it !!,
