Totally Random question, but the reason for it could become clearer soon ;) how many average sized cars (astra/focus size) could you roughly fit in a 160 square ft workshop? :afro:

Actually, ignore my last answer - I suppose it depends more on dimensions. Lets say a Focus is what, about 5'x10'?

What's the dimensions of the workshop? If it's 40'x40' you could theoretically squeeze 32 cars in it, so I dare 6 would be quite comfortable

well in that case :D , thats more than ample!, plus potenial for expanding my plans, i'l go and have a look at the place tomorrow and work it out from there :) i was just using a focus for an example as its bigger than what will mainly be going in, so would be an example for working space, i need it for puntos, cinqs and a few others :D ,

if you wanted :) , i have big plans for the place, and ideas on what to do within it :) , the 126 wouldnt take up much room, so if you wanted project space, that wouldnt be a problem :) , dont worry, rates will be excellent if it goes ahead :)

i have a feeling the place may turn into a fiat hospital, lol

Possibly ;) all projects would be welcome (especially fiats :D ) providing somethings put towards rental of the place :) , back of shop will be all set aside for projects... maybe even specificly FS projects depending on interest :D

what you get hold of bud :) was thinking out by errol would be nice :) for picnics but there is a shed i looked at before which was quite nice :) but dont know if is owned by anyone :(

The unit i had in mind has now gone, i thank them hugely for not telling me :( so i'm on the lookout again :( it looks like its back to the drawing board unless i can fibd something else soonish.

garage space- aka, Fiat Scotland Project HQ

Hopefully a goer, i'm waiting to hear about a lock up for the start of the projects now :) , ok, it will only be big enough for 1 decent sized car, maybe 2 cento's at a push, but its a start (y)

plans for later expanding into a 5/6 car space will be ongoing, but for the near future, it would very much be 1 project at a time/ fiat out patients clinic :)

Sweet!

After the recent debacle I've been very much thinking 1242'ing the Sei and 1108'ing the 126 is the way forward :D

if its possible, 1242 low boost turbo the 126 ;) , or to retain its italian temperament, go hi boost :D and for speed and reliability 1.4 16v for the sei :D

that's be a couple of little cars that would scare the hell out of supposedly faster cars :D

i forgot just how much fun that is, was out in the cinq today, overtook some clio doing 30 in a 70, a lowered and spoilered toyota celica came tearing up behind me, lights flashing to get out his road, he must have been doing about 120 coming off the slip road!, just to annoy him, rather than pulling in to let him passed, i just dropped a gear and floored it and looked in the mirror, celicas nose dived, and he floored it too, the noise both the cars was making was biblical!!!!!

even better was the look on his face when he realsied the cinq was just starting to pull away :D

makes me wonder what the hell was up with his celica, seeing as mine is nowhere near full health!, he should have been destroying me in a straight line by rights.

of course, the cinq started to run out of puff slightly at about 60mph, and the celica was starting to reel me back in, so i pulled back into the inside lane and eased off to let him through, he'd learnt his lesson that up to 55ish, he was done by a city car!

when he overtook, he slowed down to have a look, gave a thumbs up and floored it again :) which was quite a comical moment, it was like he was saying it had him beat..... if only i had the 1.4 16v in.... extra 20bhp or so on what i have now, with a bit of fettling over time, could get it up to about 120bhp i recon

its certainly on the project list anyway, i'd love to see a 126 turbo'd, that "what the hell" moment would be even better in one of those i recon! :D
