how many mile wud a cinq sporting normally get on a full tank ??any ideas

35 litres = 7.69892051 Imperial gallons

To EEC Directive 80/1268
Urban Cycle : 37.7 mpg (7.5 L/100km)
Constant 56 mph : 60.1 mpg (4.7 L/100km)
Constant 75 mph : 44.8 mpg (6.3 L/100km)

To EEC Directive 93/116
Urban Cycle : 33.23 mpg (8.5 L/100km)
Out of Town : 57.65 mpg (4.9 L/100km)
Combined : 45.56 mpg (6.2 L/100km)

Touring Consumption : 45.6 mpg (6.19 L/100km) Source : Top Gear Magazine

So using 45mpg as the fuel consumption.. 346miles from a full tank.

I never saw more than 300 with my old 1108 engine, was more around 200-250 most of the time.

Can anyone actually work out how far you get from a tank with Litres per 100km?

It's such a complicated way of working out fuel comsumption you end up having to convert into MPG before you can understand what its on about.

km/l is easily calculated if you know how many km you've covered for a given amount of fuel. As km is used on the continent, they use km/l.
l/100km should be easily calculated from the km/l value :) Don't think you necessarily need to worry about MPG to get l/100km :D

I never got more than 45mpg out of mine, as opposed to the Panda 1.2 that gets 49-50 on average. Theres an interesting factor here to do with engine power. The greater the engine power the less you have to boot it up hills, and overall on a long journey I have found that a 1.2 gets closer to book expectations than a 1.1 and a 1.6 even more so, then as the power makes less difference the 1.8 and the 2.0 I've owned were similarly dissapointing. 1.6 being the best, powering a saloon.

You might find a 1.2 sporting does better mpg, if they ever did them. I've lost track. But people normally fill up at the 290-310 mile mark with the Sei, if they don't the little yellow light comes on.....

erm how many litres is a full tank in a sporting

Can i ask why you wish to know??

Be aware the cento trait of the misreading fuel guage ;)

On both the ones I've had the gauges have been about right, with very close to 1 gallon per mark. 1242 superchipped did about 44mpg, 50-52 at a steady 80mph.

Turbo is a bugger if you hoof it, though - been down to 26.

I know i dont have a cinq but count yourself's lucky!!!!
Coupe at best is 30mpg, with 28mpg the best i can muster when being semi good and 20mpg (which is 240 miles from £50) bein the worst.
