Hi. I have a 1986 1000CL 156 A2.000
Carb: points etc.

I’m about to start changing her to a 1.2 16v. Have a full driving donor Punto mk2
Among other things the fuel tank/pump is going to be different.
Trying to gather up parts before I start into this at end of summer. Can pump from Punto be made to fit my tank that has none or do I need a tank from a panda with injection etc?

its by far more easy just to install an in line pump.
however i'd wager that you can get the info from ePer as the fuel injected panda's fuel sender unit and pump would work so long as its above 3 bar of pressure just have to be careful as some of the older stuff was only 0.8bar pressure only good for a single point injection system, but i bet the pump an be swapped out for the donor punto one.
dont worry bout the the fuel pressure being too high as the fuel rail has a regulator built into it.
if the pump is too powerful however the original return fuel line may be to narrow and make the system build up to much pressure. you can fix this with a fuel pressure regulator that just Ts before and after the fuel pump (to the excess pressure just returns back to the input of the pump) it works really well, i had a punto 75 engine in mine and this setup worked great.

just remember to use an in line fuel filter BEFORE the fuel pump and any T connections.
