Technical Fuel pipe

I have a 1.1 panda active eco 2010, fuel pipe has fractured and mechanic cant source a replacement. Can anyone recommend a supplier. Mechanic said would be about 1.5-2m in length, either blue or black.

Can mechanic not use fuel hose and hose clips to replace broken section?
