well how hard is it to source a piece of new fuel pipe from tank to filter to fuel pump all in all 10in long, fook me i went everywhere even to a specialist hydraulic hose company, it seems most cars all use 10mm internal diameter and the uno turbo, cosworth and turbo cars wear 12mm id, but no one stocks it and one loon tried to sell me heater hose which i informed him would turn to tuurd in no time as petrol eats it, it'l be ok he replies so i left the shop! So for a laugh rung my mate mr parts man at fiat and with discount its £19 EH!! how much (he laughs) so how much is a new pump (just wanted to know) thats £97, he he he laughs again!! anyway i did a quick search on tinternet and i found a metre of it from mat lewis motorsport delivered for a tenner got there in the end! and i stink of petrol Ant! (y)

That'll hide the BO nicely ;)

Joke!

Well done for getting there, its all too easy to take one of the first few options sometimes!

well more updates, after receiving new pipe just about to fit and noticed the pump was making an extra loud buzzing, thought nowt of it, then the fuucker seized, WHAT!!!!! so up in the loft i went and eh presto a spare pump WHOOAAA!!! slightly different but came off 1990 ie, old one was a bosche i think this one is a webber, so fitted with new pipe, inline filter, and at first i didn't think it worked it was silent, (i even checked the fuse and power) twisted the ignition key BOOOORRMMM!!! good as new, job done or so i thought, anyway went to petrol station on fumes, filled up and driving home i could smell fuel WTF!!! i sniffed here there everyfooking where (cant be tank or my work) opened the bonnet and my nose went straight to the pipe from the fuel filter to fuelrail, you know the pipe with metal ends (not cheap) so off i went again in the loft and eh presto a spare (how lucky can you get) and looks higher quality part, so all in all about £200 saved, and the misses is happy and off she went!! clutch and flywheel and turbosmart boost, booked in for a week on sunday
