Hi,

Any one else out there suffering a problem with their new Fiat 500 (66 plate) and the variations in the petrol gauge/warning light readings. My wife's old Fiat 500 (58 plate) would warn of low fuel at exactly the same reading, 70 miles/quarter of a tank. The new one seems to have a mind if it's own. She commutes about 7.5 miles to and from work each day and the range can vary from the reading in the morning to the reading at night by 50 miles. I know that fuel expands when warmed by the sun but 50 miles? Plus the warning light doesn't seem to come on at all. I have always been one to top up before the tank gets too low (Mechanical Engineer by trade), so it's not really that important, but it would be nice to know if anyone else has had the same problem, and what if any, was the fix?

Regards,

Norman
