Does anyone know if each front wing on my car should have a model identifier badge? The drivers side does but the pasenger side doesn't! Before I steam into the dealer I thought I'd better check![8D]

Mine was the same as yours. I took it off so no-one knows it's the bog standard Active model. :I (even tho it said active sport).

Hi

Yep, there should only be one on the drivers side wing, but I did the same as Lester and took it off, looks loads better.

Hey, Lester, I didn't know you had the same model as me, what do you make of the Active Sport then? Has it given you many problems? What can we do to make it quicker? What colour's yours?

It's on the "wing" below the side indicator repeater. I might buy another badge for the passenger wing. I'm a bit sad like that. How do you remove it in any case? I'd be scared to damage the paintwork!

I used a plastic spatula from the kitchen (don't tell the missus).

If there's any glue left, I go mine off with white spirit.

The badges thing is another one of those very subjective issues that comes up on the forum - you either like 'em (and maybe want more) or you don't (and whip the lot off).

Personal taste rules.... and I'm all for it. Thinking of putting the Fiat badge on the back of ours like the new 2004 model - that should confuse a few more people ;). But hang on, they might recognise it as a Fiat then.... end of stealth mode.... mmmmm

As an aside, went to buys soe wipers the other day and the numpty in the shop had never heard of a Stilo. The dark legend lives on....[}:)]

Hi

In answer to your question sbaddison, the Stilo's only had one badge ("Active" or "Dynamic") fitted to the driver's wing. I hated that, so ordered one for the passenger side (£8 it was!)

By the way, I had to wait about 5 months for my badge, as the UK Importers (Bristol) had Fiat UK's only supply (apparantly all Stilo's arrive in the UK unbadged, and it is the importers who badge the cars up). Mine had to be ordered from the importers - same for all Active, Dynamic, Lusso e.t.c. badges apparantly. My dealer said that they were beginning to "flow into" dealers now, so this situation may have changed.
