hi can anyone help with problem of wiper blades catching each other

Look at how they park. Either the driver's side arm needs to go up a touch or the passenger side arm needs to go down a touch. How they park will tell you which.

Mine caught a couple times in the winter but was probably just the extra friction, looked and sounded like they were both gonna snap and fly off!
To further add, look at the bottom of your screen, at the end of each wiper you should see three little dots, these are positioning dots. Line your wipers up with these and you should be good.
Forgot about the dots.

I tried taking a pic, but it's very difficult to see them. Have a look at yours from the inside out, you might see the passenger side dots that way. Unless you really don't have them.

Have you had a replacement screen then? If so, it must be a bad copy.
Ill try and get a picture of mine on my lunch break. Never even seen them before!
Now you can see them from the inside. As you'll see, my wiper is a tad higher than said dots. Hmmm, best put that right then.
Ahh very useful, how do you adjust the park position?
Run your wipers on a wet screen, turn them off, lift the covers at the base if the wiper, undo the thirteen mm but, gently pry it off the spline, line it up to the dots and tighten the 13 mm nut back up. Don't over tighten though.

Don't know if mine need adjusting yet but I will have a look later.There are three dots at the very end of the short passenger side blade. The three dots for the longer driver side blade are almost directly above the drive for the passenger side blade
shouldn't need to run wipers at all, leave at park possition, remove arm and replace on spline in correct location surley?

Just had a look and both are about an inch higher than the dots, will adjust these when I get home today.

Hey up MEP, the only reason I suggested running on a wet screen is to make sure they have gone as far down as they should. Only my thoughts, now stop giving me hassle. Lol, only messing mate.
You going to the meet in July? Yorkshire one that is.

Excellent, and for another reason well as what you suggested
If you use your wipers when screen is dry you run the risk of marking your glass and also the chance that you will ruin the blades as they have more friction and may catch. Wouldn't want that would we?
