Technical FRONT SPRINGS FOR THE 850t

Hi there,


Sorry to be a pain


I have recently purchased a Fiat 850t Camper. The front springs need sorting badly. (Currently has Mk1 Escort ones on) I have been speaking to the MD of Suplex who has made quite a few for the 850 Coupes. Whilst he knows the pay load etc is different he wants to know if the generic make up is the same.


Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,

I can't really help on the spring front I'm afraid, but the front suspension set up on the 600T/850T/900T/900E and the 600 Multipla was a narrowed version of the coil and wishbone set up found on the Fiat 1100-103 range. Rear is of course 850...

That may help with spring sizes, specifications and the like...

I found a set of springs from a company called Suplex which needed cutting down but have worked a treat. Pm me if you need any info
