I'm looking for someone who might have experienced this. I have a problem with my brakes. It's a 1977 Fiat 850t.

I had no pressure left, so I ordered a new master cylinder. It was the same one in the photo, but unfortunately, the upper cylinder is different from mine.

I've had it adjusted, but I can't get it right. Who can help me?

A bit more detail would help.:)

A 1977 should have a tandem master cyinder I suspect. What is the main problem .... can you not get the air out of the system or is the pedal low? As mentioned .... more detail would help.

The 850T / 900T / 900E master cylinders are slightly different. I only found out when I ordered a replacement for my 1978 900T and it appears to have the later 900E version fitted - so I had to swap it for the later version. On the plus side, if I ever get around to a disc brake conversion the (bigger) master cylinder should be up to the job.

Are you talking about the piston sizes or the reservoir size as both releavant especially for a disc conversion.
